SMS Terms

1. Transactional and marketing programs are separate

We may offer two different types of text messaging:

• Transactional messages: messages connected to a request or relationship, such as verification codes, login links, security alerts, receipts, support replies, resource delivery, booking confirmations, and appointment reminders.
• Optional marketing messages: recurring promotional, educational, product, coaching, and offer messages sent only after the separate SMS marketing opt-in presented to you.

Permission to receive a booking reminder or another transactional message does not by itself authorize marketing texts.

2. Optional recurring automated marketing texts

By separately selecting the SMS marketing consent and submitting your phone number, you authorize T&L Companies LLC d/b/a True Standard Fitness to send recurring automated marketing and promotional text messages to the mobile number you provided. Messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other automated technology.

Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. You may purchase or use an eligible Service without agreeing to marketing SMS. Your acceptance of general Terms, provision of a phone number for account security, or consent to transactional reminders is not SMS marketing consent.

3. Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on the programs and Services you use. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan. True Standard Fitness does not charge a separate fee for text messages, but your carrier may. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is not guaranteed and may depend on your device, carrier, coverage, and number status.

4. Opt out, revocation, and help

You may revoke SMS consent at any time. Reply STOP to any True Standard Fitness text to stop messages from that program. We also honor other reasonable methods that clearly communicate your request, including replies such as CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE, or an email to [email protected] that identifies the phone number and asks us to stop texting it.

After an opt-out, we may send one confirmation text. We will honor the request as required by law. A request to stop marketing texts does not prevent a narrowly tailored transactional or emergency message that applicable law permits, but you may ask us to stop all non-required texts.

Reply HELP for help or email [email protected]. If you later want to re-enroll, use the applicable opt-in process again.

5. Your phone number

You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the phone number you provide and are authorized to consent for that number. Tell us promptly if the number is reassigned, disconnected, or no longer belongs to you. You may do so by emailing [email protected].

6. Privacy and no third-party marketing sharing

We do not share mobile information, text messaging originator opt-in data, or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose this information to messaging providers, carriers, aggregators, and vendors that help deliver and administer the program, but not for their own marketing. Our Privacy Policy explains other permitted processing and your privacy choices.

7. Email preferences are separate

SMS and email are separate channels. Opting out of text messages does not unsubscribe you from marketing email. Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email to stop marketing email. Unsubscribing from email does not revoke SMS consent.

8. Changes to these SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms as the program or legal requirements change. We will post the current version with a new "Last updated" date and provide any additional notice or renewed consent required by law.
